Tom Maus became a Financial Representative with New England Financial in 1986.  Since that time, Tom has devoted himself to helping people create, preserve and distribute wealth.  He believes that listening is the key to designing successful financial strategies.  “I want to listen to my client’s needs and help them design a strategy that will help meet their needs and help them achieve their goals.”

            Tom earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Sociology from Mankato State University, Mankato, Minnesota. Soon after he became a Financial Representative, Tom pursued and achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and his Chartered Life Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations. He is President of the National and Lake County Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the National Association of Life Underwriters, New England’s Leader Association and is a 20-year recipient of the National Quality Award. Tom is a guest speaker at the Carthage College every semester. And also teaches Financial Planning and Insurance courses for Northwestern University in the Certified Financial Planning Training Program.
